The UNF Rugby Football Club was founded by James Perreault in September of 2003, and after extensive recruiting and fund-raising, UNF was able to field two full sides for the John Graham Sevens Tournament in December. In most recent years, the DEADBIRDS have become a fierce competitor in the state of Florida with already having two undefeated seasons and multiple trips to Florida Cup Tournament.

Every Spring semester, the Alumni and the current Deadbirds face off in the annual Alumni Game. Its always a fierce battle againist the young and the old. Some alumni still got it, but the current Deadbirds are never content with losing. Keep checking out the site for more information on the next Alumni Game.
